Q: What Is The Best Toothbrush?

Actually, there is no toothbrush that is the best for every person. As long as you are brushing at least twice a day for two minutes at a time, both regular and electric brushes are very effective. We recommend that you select an ADA-certified toothbrush with soft bristles. It should fit comfortably in your mouth, and the handle should be long enough that you can easily reach your back teeth.

Q: How Soon Should I Take My Child To The Dentist?

You can take your child to our office at any age. We usually start seeing children when they are 3 or 4 years old, but we’ve seen patients as young as 1 year old. The sooner you take your child to the dentist, the less chance he or she will feel uncomfortable or nervous about going, so we recommend starting early. Even with young children, we can examine their teeth and teach them the best ways to take care of their teeth. Our staff loves meeting and entertaining children, so please don’t hesitate to bring yours to your next appointment.

Q: What’s the Best Way To Improve The Look Of My Smile?

At Newingham Dental Center, we can examine your smile and help you determine which procedures will be most effective to help you. Some of the cosmetic dentistry services we offer include teeth whitening, straightening, dental veneers, gum reshaping, same-day dental crowns, and dental bonding.

No matter what type of improvement you are looking for, we have a solution for you.
